Charity Black Tie Ball. Synergy Sports Academy are holding a Charity Black Tie Ball in association with Orchid at the Casa Hotel in Chesterfield. Fundraiser. A coffee morning and fundraising day in aid of Macmillan Cancer Support will be held at Brimington Bowling Club, Manor Road, Brimington from 10.30am to 8pm. The competition final will commence at 6.30pm when hot pie, peas and gravy will be served.

Exhibition. An exhibition by Wensley Yarn Workers at Sir Richard Arkwright’s Cromford Mill, Mill Lane, Cromford. Free.

Arts & Crafts Fayre. Held under the arches of the entrance to the Guildhall and the Market Hall. Entry is free, some workshops may charge for materials.

Fund-raiser. Live music, stalls, tombola and light refreshments will be on offer at a fundraising event in Stretton Village Hall from 2pm to 5.30pm. Entrance £2, school age free. Proceeds for Ashgate Hospice.
