DERBYSHIRE County Council has announced a school closure after snow has struck the region again today, Wednesday, February 13.

The council announced that after a consultation with the bus companies, a decision has been made to close both sites of Highfields School, Matlock, early today, at about 2.30pm, due to the current and forecasted weather conditions.

Slacks and Andrews buses agreed to make collections at 2.30pm. Students can remain in school until arrangements can be made to return home.
