Derbyshire businesswoman Jessica Cunningham will be hoping for support from her army of celebrity mates as she appears on the new series of The Apprentice.

The 29-year-old, from Dronfield, already has a successful online fashion business, Prodigal Fox, which features collections from Love Island stars Jessica Hayes and Katie Salmon.

Jessica, who claims she is “the female version of Jim Carrey” regularly shares photos of herself on social media with celebs, including rugby player Danny Cipriani and Geordie Shore and I’m a Celebrity star Vicky Pattison.

But she may find her friendship with people in the public eye won’t go down too well with Lord Sugar on The Apprentice, after he reportedly told the Sun: “A lot of the candidates publicise themselves on social media, that’s why so many flock to the auditions cause they want to be like them.

“It’s only the ones that take it seriously that go all the way.”

Dronfield entrepreneur to appear on new series of The ApprenticeOn her audition tape, Jessica says she will be a “really good candidate” and adds “I don’t think anyone’s ever met anyone quite like me.”

She will be going head-to-head with other competitors for the chance to become Lord Sugar’s business partner and claim a £250,000 investment on the show.
