Cycle ride raises cash in memory of loved one
A Wirksworth man has been peddling hard to support a charity in memory of his partner.
David Lawrence, 59, of Wirksworth, has been cycling from Land’s End to John O’Groats to raise money for Epilepsy Research UK.
Ten years ago, David’s partner, Maggie Coen, died as the result of an epileptic seizure.
He expects has so far raised more than £800 for the cause.
