Vandals trash Swanwick Hall cricket pavilion

Police are hunting vandals who have repeatedly raided a cricket pavilion and caused damage.

The Swanwick Hall School cricket pavilion, which is used by the secondary school pupils and Swanwick Hall Cricket Club, was attacked between 9pm, on Tuesday, November 18, and 6am, on Wednesday, November 19.

A Derbyshire Constabulary spokesman said: “We have been told that this is the third time the pavilion has been targeted in four weeks.

“The offenders have smashed things up and caused damage.”

Police Scenes of Crime Officers are to be sent out to the site as part of the investigation.

Witnesses or anyone with information about vandal attacks at the school pavilion, near Derby Road, Swanwick, can call Derbyshire police on 101 quoting crime reference number 49139.
