Two men to be sentenced over Chesterfield burglaries

Two men are to be sentenced in court for committing a number of burglaries in the Grassmoor, North Wingfield and Hasland areas.

Paul Hodgson, 38, and Paul Hodgson, 18, of Tennyson Way, Grassmoor, admitted carrying out 12 offences in the area.

They face four burglary charges and one charge of attempted burglary. Seven offences were taken into consideration by the court.

The crimes were carried out overnight between Thursday, October 24 and Friday, October 25.

A home on Churchside at Hasland, pharmacy in Grassmoor, and a fish bar and hair salon in North Wingfield were broken into.

Both men are due to appear at Derby Crown Court on Monday, November 18 for sentencing.
