Two Bolsover men have been arrested in connection with the death of Adam Fanelli in Nash, Buckinghamshire.

A 30-year-old man and a 33-year-old man, both from Bolsover, Derbyshire, were arrested on March 24 on suspicion of committing murder and are currently in police custody.

The Thames Valley Police investigation is continuing into the murder of Adam Fanelli, aged 31, from Dunstable, Bedfordshire.

Officers attended Nash Park in Winslow Road, following a report from South Central Ambulance Service shortly after 9am, on Tuesday, March 17, where Mr Fanelli was found deceased.

A Home Office post mortem examination on March 18 established a provisional cause of death as being from blunt trauma to the head.

Two other men, aged 25 and 44, who were both arrested on Friday, March 20, on suspicion of assisting an offender, were bailed until 7 May.

Detectives from the Major Crime Unit are following a number of enquiries to establish the circumstances of the death.

Senior investigating officer Det Chief Insp Simon Steel said a team of detectives have been carrying out a number of enquiries and a dedicated incident room was set up as part of the investigation.

He added that specially trained family liaison officers have been supporting Mr Fanelli’s family.

Officers from the local Neighbourhood Team continued to patrol locally following the murder to provide reassurance to anyone with concerns.
