A nine-month prison term, suspended for a year, was imposed on Bond, 22, of Green Farm Close, Chesterfield, after she admitted assault causing actual bodily harm and common assault following the incident on August 20.

Judge John Pini QC told her: “You must understand in normal circumstances, kicking someone to the head while they are on the ground with a shod foot is regarded (in the same way) as using a weapon and immediate custody is the result.

“Intoxication is no excuse.”

Bond and her partner had each downed nine pints of lager and two Sambuca shots, according to the court.

Tony Stanford, prosecuting, said: “Witnesses heard screaming and shouting and saw the kicking and punching of someone lying on the floor. He was being kicked to his body and head and his head was being stamped on.
