Thieves steal large amount of jewellery from Derbyshire house

Police are appealing for witnesses after thieves stole a large amount of jewellery.

Offenders broke into a house in Bernard Close, Brimington, between 9am on Monday, March 16 and 9am the following morning.

Among the items stolen were several bracelets, chains, earrings and necklaces.

One of the necklaces has a wolf face made out of leaf shapes.

Another has a miniature gold ingot with five small diamonds on it.

A gold ring with a dolphin shape was also taken.

The offenders also took cash, a Parker pen and a Canon Powershot digital camera.

Detectives investigating the offence want to hear from witnesses or anyone who may have been offered similar items for sale.
