Residents living in Staveley, Woodthorpe and Mastin Moor are being invited to help set the policing priorities for their neighbourhood at an upcoming meeting.

Sergeant Colin Mcinulty, PC Patrick Cooney and PCSO Sue Cooke from the Staveley Safer Neighbourhood Team are set to host their next priority meeting from 7pm on Friday, June 5.

The meeting, which will take place at Eventide Rest Rooms on Cherry Tree Grove in Mastin Moor, is a chance for local residents to raise concerns about crime in their area with the team.

Police will then set neighbourhood priorities to focus on for the following three months, based on feedback from the public.

The current priorities see the team tackling anti-social behaviour and criminal damage in Lansbury Avenue Park, along with nuisance behaviour around Staveley Market Square, Morrisons and The Healthy Living Centre.

If you are unable to attend the meeting but would like to put forward any issues contact your local Safer Neighbourhood policing team on 101, the non-emergency number for Derbyshire police.
