Staveley residents urged to be vigilant after burglaries

Staveley residents are being urged to be vigilant after three burglaries in the town.

Sometime between 5pm and 10pm last Saturday, offenders broke into two homes on White Road and stole a gold necklace.

A third house on Moor View Road was targeted sometime between noon and 1.15pm on Monday.

Burglars stole a jewellery box, necklaces, earrings, bracelets, rings and watches.

A Derbyshire police spokesman advised residents to visit HERE for home security advice.
