Police call on parents to help tackle anti-social behaviour in Peak District village

Parents are being asked to help crack down on anti-social behaviour after incidents in Bradwell.

Police recieved reports about groups of youths acting anti-socially on the grounds of Bradwell Infant School on Church Street, on Wednesday, September 3 and Thursday, September 4.

Officers from the Hathersage Safer Neighbourhood Team are now asking parents for their support in tackling nuisance behaviour in the community

PCSO Anthony Boswell from the Hathersage Safer Neighbourhood Team said: “We have received reports over the last week of youths acting anti-socially on the school grounds by causing a disturbance to local residents and also leaving litter behind.

“We will continue to carry out patrols and offer advice to residents living in the area.

“It is really important that parents know where there child is at night and when they will be returning home to help support our clamp down on anti-social behaviour.”
