Police are appealing for the owner of a rucksack that was found in Chesterfield to come forward.

Police are appealing to trace the owner of a rucksack and walking equipment that have been found in fields.

The backpack and other items, including a coat, map, walking guides and a notebook, were found in fields off Spital Lane, in Chesterfield, at around 10.30am, on Sunday, September 6.

The Osprey Talon 33 rucksack is navy and grey in colour with reflective tabs and two logos depicting birds of prey.
