Police are appealing for information after an arson attack at a property in Hasland.

A white Ford Focus Zetec parked outside a property on Mansfield Road was completely destroyed in the fire.

The blaze is thought to have been started deliberately and police are asking for anyone who might have information to get in touch.

The incident occurred at about 9.40pm on January 17 and suspicious activity was also reported in the area at about 11.20pm on January 25.

Police want to speak to anyone who was in the Mansfield Road area, near the industrial units close to the junction with the B6425, who saw any suspicious vehicles in the area around those times, or who can help with the investigation in any way.
