POLICE are appealing for witnesses following an incident at Tibshelf Motorway Services.

On Wednesday, April 4 at 6.55pm, a man was filling his lorry with diesel at the service station off the M1 when he was approached by an Asian man who asked if he wanted to buy some jewellery.

The man declined, as he did so the man with the jewellery placed a necklace around his neck. The man later realised that his own necklace had been removed.

The man was described as in his late 50’s and had stubble on his chin. He was wearing a black jacket, brown/black trousers and dark coloured shoes.
