Police in Ripley are appealing for information after a man exposed himself at a library in the town.

Between 10am and 10.30am on Thursday, December 5 a 46-year-old woman was using the library on Grosvenor Road when she noticed a man stood nearby.

The woman then got up to leave and as she walked past the man she noticed he had exposed himself. He made no attempt to speak to her.

She left the library and went back a short time later to report the incident but the man had left.

The offender is described as white, in his 50s, around 5ft 10ins tall with a bald patch on his head. He was wearing a light coloured anorak and beige trousers.

Anyone with information about the incident or who saw a man fitting that description in the area is asked to call Derbyshire police on 101 or Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.
