A MAN has been charged with possession of heroin after he was stopped and searched by police for acting suspiciously.
The 49-year-old man was stopped by officers at Pevensey Court, off Ringwood Avenue, Chesterfield on Monday, August 8.
Officers found two small bags of suspected heroin in his pocket. The man was arrested and later charged.
He will appear before magistrates in Chesterfield on Wednesday, September 14.
