Man charged with murder of teen in Derbyshire

A man has been charged with the murder of a 17-year-old boy in Derbyshire.

Dominic Halliday-Fox, 21, from Derby, will appear at Southern Derbyshire Magistrates’ Court today (Friday April, 15).

The alleged murder happened on West Street in Swadlincote at about 4am on Sunday, April 10.

Two people were injured and a 17-year-old died later in hospital. A 20-year-old man was also taken to hospital and released after treatment.

A 23-year-old man, arrested on suspicion of violent disorder, has been released on police bail while the investigation continues.
