Man accused of racism in Chesterfield shop

A man is to appear before magistrates charged with making a racist comment to a retail worker in Chesterfield.

He is accused of shouting a racially abusive name at the victim during the incident at the Boots store on Low Pavement at around 3.30pm on Saturday, April 5.

The 21-year-old is due to appear at North East Derbyshire and Dales Magistrates’ Court in Chesterfield on Tuesday, May 13.
