Sheryl Brown, 47, of Newland Dale, Chesterfield. Pleaded guilty to stealing food valued at £40.72 belonging to Lidl. Pleaded guilty to failing to surrender to custody. Pleaded guilty to stealing coffee valued at £36.50 belonging to Aldi. Community order to last until May 17, 2016, with a curfew and electronic monitoring, a thinking skills programme and a rehabilitation activity requirement. Must pay £85 costs and a court charge of £150 and £36.50 compensation. Commission of a further offence while subject to a conditional discharge for a theft. No action taken on the breach.

Jason Paul Yeomans, 27, of Arundel Close, Chesterfield. Pleaded guilty to stealing food valued at £11.40 belonging to Tesco. Fined £73 and must pay a £20 victim surcharge and £85 costs.

David Garrett, 33, of Oakes Row, Ironville. Indicated a guilty plea to stealing tools and accessories. Community order to last until May 18, 2016, with 120 hours of unpaid work. Must pay £449 compensation and a £60 victim surcharge and £85 costs with a court charge of £150.

Charles Francis, 47, of HMP Lewes. Found guilty of stealing various tools at Stoney Houghton valued at £1,750. Committed to prison for 18 weeks.

Alan James Poxton, 36, of Chapel Street, Brimington, Chesterfield. Pleaded guilty to stealing a Superdry Hoodie valued at £50. Pleaded guilty to interfering with a vehicle with the intention of the theft of the vehicle, or part of it or of anything carried in the vehicle. Admitted breaching his licence condition by being arrested for further offences. Committed to prison for nine weeks. Must pay an £80 victim surcharge and a £180 court charge.

Angela Dawn May Hardy, 51, of Charlesworth Street, Bolsover. Indicated a guilty plea to stealing money to the value of £3,000. Committed to prison for 12 weeks. Restraining order to last until May 19, 2020. Must pay £3,000 compensation.

John Martin David Green, 58, of Rocester Way, North Wingfield, Chesterfield. Indicated a guilty plea to intentionally touching a woman aged 16 or over and that touching was sexual and she did not consent. Must pay £50 compensation. Indicated a guilty plea to harassment and possessing an open vessel containing alcohol when prohibited from doing so.
