CHESTERFIELD: Woman pronounced dead at home

Police are urging people to protect their property online.

POLICE do not believe there are any suspicious circumstances after a woman was found dead at an address in Chesterfield.

Officers were called to the property in Heywood Street, Brimington, at 5.30pm, yesterday, Wednesday, February 20, by a 59-year-old man.

Emergency services arrived and a 58-year-old woman was pronounced dead at the scene.

An investigation is underway into the circumstances surrounding her death but police said they do not believe there are any suspicious circumstances involved.

A post-mortem examination is due to take place on Friday, February 22.
