Lisa Maureen Edwards, 32, of Kingsley Avenue, Grangewood, Chesterfield. Pleaded guilty to stealing a fryer valued at £169 from Currys. Must pay £169 compensation, a £60 victim surcharge and £85 costs and a £150 court charge. Admitted committing a further offence while subject to a conditional discharge for the offences of two thefts. No adjudication. Dealt with for the original offences which were subject to the conditional discharge of stealing food and sandals and a jumpsuit. Community order to last until September 23, 2015, with a curfew for two months and electronic monitoring.

Theresa Spencer, 38, of Alexander Street West, Chesterfield. Pleaded guilty to stealing a bottle of vodka valued at £15.98. Must pay £15.98 compensation and a £150 court charge. Pleaded guilty to stealing alcohol valued at £10.59. Must pay £10.59 compensation. Pleaded guilty to failing to surrender to custody. Pleaded guilty to stealing three packs of Special Brew valued at £24. Must pay £24 compensation. Pleaded guilty to stealing three packs of Special Brew and chocolate brownies. Must pay £24 compensation. Committed to prison for 18 weeks.

John Jones, 32, of Cordwell Avenue, Newbold, Chesterfield. Pleaded guilty to stealing food and drink valued at £187.99 belonging to Tesco. Community order to last until July 26, 2016, with a drug rehabilitation requirement and supervision. Fined £37 and must pay a £60 victim surcharge and £43 costs. Pleaded guilty to failing to surrender to court. No separate penalty.

John Aidan Pearson, 30, of Chatsworth Road, Chesterfield. Indicated a guilty plea to stealing Sony Blu Ray Players valued at £100. Must pay an £80 victim surcharge and a £180 court charge. Indicated a guilty plea to stealing a Toshiba TV valued at £240. Committed to prison for seven days.

Motoring

Daniel Christopher David Hancock, 21, of Chapel Lane, Middleton-by-Wirksworth, Matlock. Pleaded guilty to exceeding the alcohol drink-drive limit. Admitted committing a further offence during a suspended sentence for threatening behaviour. No adjudication. Dealt with for the original offences of threatening behaviour which was subject to a suspended sentence and for shouting verbal abuse which he was prohibited from doing by an anti-social behaviour order. Committed to prison for 20 weeks. Must pay an £80 victim surcharge and a £150 court charge. Disqualified from driving for 20 months.

Philip John Glasby, 41, of Green Farm Close, Chesterfield. Pleaded guilty to failing without reasonable excuse to provide a specimen as part of an investigation when suspected of having driven a vehicle. Discharged conditionally for 12 months and must pay a £15 victim surcharge and £200 costs. Disqualified from driving for 12 months.

Reece John Cole, 20, of Moor Lane, Bolsover. Pleaded guilty to exceeding the alcohol drink-drive limit. Pleaded guilty to driving a vehicle otherwise than in accordance with a licence. Pleaded guilty to taking a vehicle without the consent of the owner and after it was taken damage was caused to the vehicle. James Eric Steven Wisternoff, 23, of Church Street North, Old Whittington, Chesterfield. Pleaded guilty to two counts of possessing methylmethcathinone, a controlled class B drug. Discharged conditionally for 12 months. Must pay a £15 victim surcharge and £85 costs.

Alexander Bernard Cotterell, 25, of Walton Fields Road, Chesterfield. Indicated guilty plea to possessing 1.3grammes of cannabis, a controlled class B drug. Fined £73 and must pay a £20 victim surcharge and £85 costs.

No separate penalty. Admitted committing a further offence while subject to a suspended sentence for the offences of theft, criminal damage and assaulting a police constable. No adjudication. Dealt with for the original offences which were subject to the suspended sentence of stealing wine and cider, damaging a police vehicle and assaulting a police constable.
