Melvyn Thomas Jones, 39, of Flamsteed Crescent, Newbold Moor, Chesterfield. Stole electrical items and milk belonging to ASDA. Also stole a razor belonging to Tesco. Comnmunity order for 12 months with a drug rehabilitation requirement, thinking skills programme and supervision. Fined £73 and must pay compensation and a £60 victim surcharge and £85 costs. Failed to surrender to custody. Fined £36.

Matthew Rodney Boll, 42, of Newbridge Lane, Old Whittington, Chesterfield. Stole Yankee candles. Stole shoes valued at £32.98. Failed to surrender to custody three times. Dishonestly used a quantity of electricity. Must pay am £80 victim surcharge and £85 costs. Committed to prison for eight weeks suspended for 12 months.

Andrew David Marshall, 29, of Ashton Close, Swanwick, Alfreton. Stole a bottle of spirits belonging to Tesco. Committed to prison for 20 weeks concurrently. Used threatening behaviour. Committed to prison for 20 weeks concurrently. Destroyed a pane of glass in a front door. Committed to prison for eight weeks concurrently. Given a two-year restraining order. Drugs

James Craig Burton, 30, of Glasshouse Hill, Codnor, Ripley. Possessed 2.6grammes of cocaine, a controlled class A drug. Fined £220 and must pay a £22 victim surcharge and £85 costs. Possessed 1.2grammes of cannabis, a class B drug. Fined £145.
