Police are appealing for information after four vehicles were broken into in Glossopdale in the past week.

Overnight between Sunday and Monday, thieves broke into two vehicles which were parked in a residential car park on Marple Road, in Charlesworth.

An Acer laptop and cash were taken from a cream coloured Fiat 500 and Rayban sunglasses were stolen from a white Fiat 500. No damage was caused.

On the same night, a black Peugeot van that was parked on Town Lane, Charlesworth, was targeted and a series of items including Nike trainers, Nike football boots, a blue sports holdall and a first aid kit were taken from within.

Offenders also gained entry to a black Mercedes that was parked a driveway on Lake Side in Hadfield between 2pm on Friday and 6.40am on Monday and stole a Dell laptop with a carrycase and a Swissgear satchel were stolen from the vehicle.

Anyone with any information about the incidents is asked to contact Sergeant Phil Booth on 101, the non-emergency number for Derbyshire Police.
