Brimington underpass vandalised

Police in Brimington are appealing for witnesses after an underpass was covered in graffiti.

The graffiti was sprayed on the underpass on Station Road, Brimington sometime between noon on Friday, May 20 and noon on Thursday, May 26.

Derbyshire County Council Rangers found the graffiti during routine checks at the site.

The graffiti is yellow, covers around 10 metres in length and includes the words ‘Bad Boyz’, ‘S43’ and ‘Nick N Craig’.

Police Community Support Officer Matt Winterton said: “This is a thoughtless act of vandalism that will take the council time and money to remove.

“I would urge anyone with any information about any of the tags to call police so we can identify those responsible and take the appropriate action against them.”
