ALFRETON: Police carry out drugs raid

TWO men have been arrested in Alfreton for drug offences.

Derbyshire Constabulary revealed that on Wednesday, January 9, at 2pm, a drugs warrant and raid was conducted at a house on Oakland Street.

A police spokesman said a quantity of cocaine was seized and a 27-year-old man and a 28-year-old man were arrested on suspicion of possessing a Class A drug.

Police confirmed they have both been released on bail pending further enquiries.
