Alfreton man charged with handling stolen goods

A man has been charged with handling stolen goods after police carried out a warrant at a house in Alfreton.

Officers raided the house on Preston Avenue on Thursday, June 13 and recovered two mountain bikes that are believed to have been stolen.

Darren Gratton (41), of South Normanton, was arrested and charged with handling stolen goods. He appeared at North East Derbyshire and Dales Magistrates’ Court on Friday, June 14.
