Five taxis have been prohibited for defective tyres by Derbyshire Police.

Derbyshire police working with Chesterfield Borough Council for taxi complience checks

Chesterfield Borough Council worked with Derbys Road Police last night, Saturday, June 18 for taxi safety and licencing compliance checks.

In all 33 taxis were checked and five were prohibited for defective tyres some with cords exposed.
