A council chairman has reeled in £300 for the Derbyshire, Leicestershire and Rutland Air Ambulance which is his charity appeal.

A council chairman has reeled in £300 for the Derbyshire, Leicestershire and Rutland Air Ambulance which is his charity appeal.

Ken Savidge, chairman of North East Derbyshire District Council and representative for the Clay Cross North ward, received the cheque from Clay Cross Angling Association and Marshalls of Clay Cross who sponsored angling matches.

The matches were held at The Lido and Lodge Pond at Wingerworth.
