Police are appealing for information after a car was damaged in Matlock.
A Vauxhall Corsa was scratched between 8am and 4pm, on Thursday, January 5, as it was parked on Smedley Street, near the junction with Smedley Street West.
The damage was discovered once the driver had returned home following a day at work.
PCSO Karl Millward, of the Matlock Safer Neighbourhood Policing Team, said: “The vehicle may have been scratched deliberately or accidentally but it may be costly for the owner to repair.
“We would urge anyone who may have seen the car being damaged to come forward.”
Anyone with information should contact Derbyshire police by calling 101, the non-emergency number, or through Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.
