DERBYSHIRE police have appealed for help to find a missing man who may have travelled to Lancashire.

Tim Beardsley, 44, of Old Tupton, near Clay Cross, was reported missing by his wife on Monday.

He was last seen when he left home at around 8.30am that morning.

He did not arrive at work and his family has not heard from him since.

Officers know his car, a green Ford Focus estate, was in Lancashire on Monday and would like anyone who has seen Mr Beardsley to contact them on 101.

Mr Beardsley is white, five feet ten inches tall, with short brown hair. He was wearing a pale blue and maroon striped sweatshirt and blue jeans.
