It seemed as though everyone was just pleased to see some sunshine when Clowne Wildlife Group visited Langold Lake on Saturday, February 16. Situated on the outskirts of Worksop, it is a popular area for families from Langold and other nearby villages.
Thawing snow and overnight rain had made walking very slippery but the usual wildlife was evidently starting to ‘tune up’ and practice their songs. The best views of the day were of a sparrow hawk as well as soaring buzzards over nearby farmland.
