Clowne become the home of amateur musicians on Saturday, April 26.
The usual coffee morning held at the Methodist Church developed an air of a promenade concert, for the room filled with smiling faces, as the young members of the Creswell Brass (Training) Band gave their very first public performance. Musical cirector, Jeff Shaw commended the efforts of the youngsters who turned up week after week, in all weathers, to practice. Band members were also thanked for giving their time too.
They meet each Saturday morning at Clowne Methodist Church from 10am till 11am, and anyone, adults or children, wishing to learn music and a musical instrument can do so, for free, as there is no charge for tuition. For further information contact Jeff on 07956 268495
