HOSPICE charity shop bosses are urgently calling for people to clear out their cupboards to restock the shelves.
St Luke’s Hospice stores across Sheffield are proving so successful in the Christmas countdown that good quality clothing, books, CDs, DVDs and household items are running low.
Darren Sterling, retail development manager, said: “If you’re having a clear out to help make space for all this year’s gifts then please do think about us.
“We need your donations to help raise the £4 million we need annually just to keep the hospice doors open.”
Donations can be taken to St Luke’s shops in Abbeydale, Chapeltown, Crookes, Ecclesall, Gleadless, Hillsborough, Nether Edge, Stocksbridge and Woodseats during normal shop opening hours.
