Clay Cross Photographic Society held their annual dinner and presentation of awards at Batemans Mill on Friday, May 10.
The awards were presented by the chairman Collin Greenhough to:
Photographer of the year - Roy Millett; colour print photographer of the year - Sue Wilson; top colour print - Sheila Rayson; top mono projected image - Robert Smith; top natural history projected image - Peter Jones; top natural history print - Sue Wilson; summer project - Ron Trevis; ten image competition - Collin Greenhough; audio visual competition - Daviud Cudworth; novice of the year - Vicki Barton-War.
The following awards all were won by Roy Millett - mono prints, all projected images, top mono print, top colour projected image.
On Monday, May 13, the society met in St Mary’s Centre, Pilsley, for the AGM.
The outgoing chairman, Collin Greenhough, thanked the officers, committee and members for their support during the last two years.
The following were elected for the coming year: chairman, David Thompson; vice-chairman, Maureen Shearer; treasurer, Les Unwin; competition secretary, Anne Millett; programme secretary, David Cudworth; general secretary, Chris Lowe and Webmaster, Geoff Hicks.
The details of the summer programme of outings and visits were given out by the organiser Chris Hoult.
