Members of a church group have supported one of their pet charities.

Members of a church group have supported one of their pet charities.

The RSPCA was one of two causes chosen by the ladies’ fellowship of Alfreton Wesley Church for their annual fund-raising effort.

A cheque for £200 was presented to animal care manager Lizzie Malachowski byfellowship treasurer Viv Siddons.

Lizzie spoke about the animal charity’s work and answered questions from the members when she visited the group.

A cheque for a further £200 is being presented to a representative of the NSPCC this month.
