Singers in Chesterfield Philharmonic Choir will be airing their talents in a concert this weekend.

They will be joined by soloists from the Royal Northern College of Music in a performance of Rossini’s Petite Messe Solenelle, a piece which its composer called Sins of old Age.

The piece also boasts an appearance of both a harmonium and piano, played specially for the choir by The Scott Brothers Duo which is composed of Jonathon on harmonium and Tom on piano.

Saturday’s concert starts at 7.30pm in the Central Methodist Church, Saltergate, Chesterfield. Ticket prices are £12, £10 (pensioners) and £5 (children and unemployed).
