A concerned resident fears a child could die because of inconsiderate parking outside a Chesterfield school.
She has sent the Derbyshire Times a number of pictures highlighting the problem at Hady Primary School – see the video at the top.
The resident, who asked not be named, said: “People park on the curbs and also on the other side of the road across from other cars.
“I’m concerned for the safety of children coming from the school as when cars pull off the curbs they may accidentally hit a child.
“Something needs to be done before it is too late. We don’t want a little one being involved in a collision recieving injuries or even something fatal.”
She added: “The issue causes many problems for parents with pushchairs as they struggle to walk up the path.
“Buses struggle to drive past making them late and on many occasions we’ve had ambulances get stuck meaning patients have to wait longer for medical attention which could be life-changing.”
