Students and staff at Chesterfield College have raised over £2,000 for children with special needs.

The Childhood Studies team presented children’s charity Amy’s House with a cheque for £2,170 at Ringwood Hall.

They raised the money through a series of fundraising events including a sponsored 13-mile walk in fancy dress.

Amy’s House gives children with special needs the chance to play, laugh and learn through education and exercise in a fun and safe environment whilst giving parents welcome respite.
