Chesterfield's annual fireworks spectacle to return next month

The Chesterfield Borough Council-run event will be held at Stand Road Park on Sunday, November 5.

Gates will open at 4pm and there will be fireworks from 7pm.

There will also be a fun fair, food and drink and music.

The event costs £2 per person with those under the age of five allowed in for free.

A borough council spokesman said: "Please bring the exact change as change can't be given.

"There are no plans for a bonfire at the event. This is due to the limited space and the extra costs that a bonfire would bring."
