A man who broke into a Chesterfield pub by stacking outdoor furniture and climbing through a first floor window has been jailed.
Andrew Hall, 44, broke into the Courtyard, on Elder Court, overnight between March 17 and 18, 2013 and caused damage to two gaming machines before stealing money from inside them.
He was arrested after his DNA was found in the pub.
Hall, of no fixed abode, pleaded guilty to burglary. He was jailed for two years at a hearing at Derby Crown Court on Friday, June 7.
He must also pay £100 victim surcharge.
