A MAN sitting at home suffered minor injuries to his legs after a motorist reversed a car into the property.
The collision happened on Gorse Valley Road, at Hasland, Chesterfield, about 9.20pm, on Tuesday, May 7.
A Derbyshire Constabulary spokesman said: “A car reversed straight through a wall at the house and into the front of the property damaging a front window and causing structural damage.
“A 36 year-old man who was sitting in a room at the house at the time received minor injuries and scratches to his legs.”
Utilities at the property were isolated as a precaution and engineers were called out after the crash to help make the property structurally safe.
Chesterfield firefighters also attended the incident and helped to make the property safe for the occupants.
