ANDREW Engineering based in Chesterfield who specialise in the manufacture and installation of commercial kitchen canopies have just completed a successful installation of a new kitchen canopy in the Birmingham Women’s Hospital.

Having won the tender, Andrew Engineering liaised closely with Paul Pattinson of the hospital Estates Department to carefully plan every detail of the project to replace the canopy in a live kitchen without interrupting the operation of the kitchen producing food all day for a busy hospital.

The works were completed on time and the kitchen handed back as promised.

Paul Pattinson said: “Peter and his excellent team designed, manufactured and installed a large kitchen extract canopy for Birmingham Women’s Hospital. From start to finish the project was managed first class with great attention to detail and with precision.

“Installing within a ‘live’ kitchen within a hospital is not easy but was managed with expertise and flexibility. I would recommend Peter and his team that demonstrated that the UK does possess ‘craftsmen and engineers’. My catering staff have commended the project and the team from Andrew Engineering and I personally would not hesitate to recommend or utilise this team again.”
