Emergency services were called out to a serious road traffic incident on the Horns Bridge roundabout, near Chesterfield town centre, on Monday, November 4.
A casualty was being attended to about 5.45pm as they lay injured on the road of the inside lane of the three-lane Frankie & Benny’s roundabout which has become notorious for collisions, shunts and near misses.
Derbyshire Constabulary said on Monday evening it was too early to release details of exactly what happened.
Police vehicles and an ambulance attended the scene and delayed rush-hour traffic was safely diverted around the incident.
