Ten members of HNChelp, the support group for people affected by head and neck cancer, attended the National Association of Laryngectomee Clubs (NALC) annual dinner at the York Royal Hotel last Sunday.
Mr Malcolm Babb, president of NALC and secretary of Chesterfields HNChelp group, welcomed guests from the UK coming from as far afield as Edinburgh and London.
Twelve clubs attended along with representatives from the Cancer Laryngectomee Trust.
A charity raffle raised almost £300.
