Chesterfield-born movie star headlines hospice fundraiser

Chesterfield-born TV and movie star Claire Price is urging people to support Ashgate Hospice as she prepares to be a guest speaker at a fundraiser.

The 42-year-old starred alongside Matt Damon in Clint Eastwood’s movie Hereafter and appeared in Jump and A Seaside Story. She is speaking at the charity’s Leading Ladies Lunch about her work including TV’s Rebus, Dalziel and Pascoe, and Midsomer Murders.

Claire will be on a panel for a panel with three other Derbyshire leading ladies including Ashgate’s Chief Executive Lucy Nickson, Melanie Ulyatt, of One to One Support Services and Joanna Dawson, of Elliot Mather Solicitors. There will also be a fashion show by Blanc.

Rebecca Littlewood, Ashgate’s Marketing and Communications Manager, said: “We are really excited to be welcoming Claire and the rest of the panel.”
