CHESTERFIELD: Appeal after four cars are broken into

Police are appealing for information after four cars were broken into in Chesterfield.

The incidents took place sometime overnight between July 29 and July 30 in the area off Piccadilly Road.

A Vauxhall Astra, a Lexus and a Mazda 2, parked on Wain Avenue, and a Renault Clio, parked on Camlough Walk, were targeted. Two sat-navs and a pair of sunglasses were stolen.

A police spokesman said: “Residents are being reminded to make sure cars are secure and to remove any valuables from their vehicles.”
