A great night out has been organised to raise money for a charity which provides support into pregnancy problems.
A black tie dance and charity auction is being held at the Palace Hotel, in Buxton, on Saturday, April 13.
The event has been organised by Ciara Curran, of Chinley, in order to raise money for Tommy’s baby charity.
Ciara and her partner Phil Speakman were heartbroken when their first child, Sinead, was stillborn as a result of preterm premature rupture of the membranes (PPROM) and the infection Group B Strep.
The couple have since had a healthy baby girl, Siobhan, and Ciara gives her thanks to the charity for its helping in carrying her full term.
The evening will feature a jazz band, three course dinner and auction, with items up for grabs including an overnight stay in Manchester’s Midland Hotel, a photo shoot and a hair appointment at Toni and Guy, in Buxton.
There will also be a raffle with tickets costing £1 and prizes including a trip for four to see Loose Women being filmed in London, a family photo session at Tim Hensel and £100 worth of Marks and Spencer vouchers.
Tickets cost £30 and can be booked by visiting Ciara’s Paypal account, firstname.lastname@example.org, or by visiting One Small Step, in Hall Bank, Buxton.
Tommy’s carries out research into pregnancy problems, as well as providing support to families .
