BIG-HEARTED slimmers donated their Christmas chocolates to a homeless charity – collecting enough treats to fill two cars.
In a bid to banish their festive temptation, Slimming World groups in North Wingfield, Wingerworth and Clay Cross forfeited their edible gifts which were donated to Chesterfield-based charity, Pathways.
They also donated towels, bedding and toiletries.
Gail Annable, Slimming World group leader, said:
“The generosity of the people at the groups has been amazing. At Pathways they were very impressed.”
The group are going to continue to work to raise money for Pathways.
