KIND staff from a regional building society will be arriving in Chesterfield on one of the latest legs of their 241 mile charity ride around the East Midlands.

With support from Team Raleigh-GAC, the Nottingham Building Society riders will be raising awareness and cash for homeless charity Framework and are due to arrive at their Chesterfield branch on Monday.

Chief Executive David Marlow said: “I’m incredibly proud to be part of the team completing this relay. We’ve been working hard to support homelessness.

“We’ve seen a resurgence in cycling and with our sponsorship of Team Raleigh-GAC earlier in the year, a biking challenge was a perfect way of getting the business involved in our biggest fundraising effort.”

Andrew Redfern, of Framework, said: “We’re delighted to be supported by two local historic organisations.”

The team will be visiting eleven branches travelling over 241 miles over five days, ending in Nottingham, on September 7, with the aim of raising £5,000. To make a donation visit https://www.justgiving.com/teams/bikeit2012 for details.
